چکیده
Hydrologic sciences depend on data monitoring, analyses, and simulations of hydrologic processes to ensure safe, sufficient, equal water distribution. These come from but are not limited primary (lab, plot, field experiments) secondary sources (remote sensing, UAVs, models) that typically follow FAIR Principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable: (go-fair.org)). Easy availability has become possible because the hydrology-oriented organizations have pushed community increase coordination protocols for generating sharing model platforms. In addition, networking at all levels emerged with an invigorated effort activate science efforts complement conventional collection methods. However, it difficult decipher various complex increasing data. Machine learning, a branch artificial intelligence, provide more accurate faster alternatives better understand different hydrological processes. The Integrated, Coordinated, Open, Networked (ICON) framework provides pathway users include respect diversity, equity, inclusivity. ICONs support integration peoples historically marginalized identities into this professional discipline sciences. This article comprises three independent commentaries about state ICON principles in hydrology discusses opportunities challenges adopting them.

ASP perspectives on networked appliances
ASPs today provide a means for businesses to outsource their applications thus saving on setup and maintenance costs. This paper presents an example of an ASP providing a service to a specialized networked device: a Networked Alarm Clock. This example is used to illustrate the issues ASPs would need to deal with to provide services to specialized networked devices within a home network.

Hindsight bias occurs when people feel that they “knew it all along,” that is, when they believe that an event is more predictable after it becomes known than it was before it became known. Hindsight bias embodies any combination of three aspects: memory distortion, beliefs about events’ objective likelihoods, or subjective beliefs about one’s own prediction abilities. Hindsight bias stems from...
